Bio: Miriam Uresti is a senior at Barnard College from Houston, Texas, pursuing a double major in English and Political Science, with interests in the intersection of law and public policy. Her long-term life goals are to weaponize the law to help build up community and create change through legal frameworks. She has served in leadership positions in Chicane Caucus as Co-President and Cultural Chair, and currently serves as Secretary for the Hispanic Pre-Law Society. After graduation, she will join the Office of the Harris County Judge as a Policy Advisor.

Fun Fact: I was an avid reader of Percy Jackson as a kid and wished I could live in NYC.
